Description

Summary: Provide internal support to the organization’s network, including WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi, while managing firewalls, SD-WAN, QOS, and NAC systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Network systems

  • Manage and monitor Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, access points, and other network equipment from multiple vendors, including Dell, Aruba, Meraki, and Cisco.
  • Troubleshoot WAN connectivity over TCP/IP v.6 and v.4.
  • Manage SD-WAN environment.
  • Plan, and install IOS and firmware updates to switches, routers, and other network equipment.
  • Implement/troubleshoot access control and QOS policies.
  • Implement and maintain network monitoring systems.
  • Manage Network Access Control systems
  • Ensure effective backup of network-related equipment.
  • Works closely with the Network Administration team, internal departments and external vendors.

 

Other systems

  • Build and maintain network, Windows servers, and desktops as needed.
  • Maintain and test backup/DRC facilities.
  • Assist in the management of VOIP systems
  • Develops and maintains documentation of IT procedures.
  • Reports anomalous network activity detected to Information Security personnel.
  • Assist other departments in designing and implementing new products and services.
  • Work with vendors to schedule appropriate periodic maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Maintain and configure Office 365 systems.

 

    Other Duties

 

Ensure compliance with all safety, security and compliance programs including but not limited to BSA, AML, OFAC, Branch Security and Safety. Exercise awareness in regard to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior.

 

Remains on-call as needed and determined by the Information Technology Manager.

 

 

          Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

           Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university; or two to four years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Financial institution experience preferred. Cisco, Meraki, or Palo Alto certifications preferred.
